ACT is supported in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency, through its regional arts funding partnership, Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA). State government funding to the arts depends upon an annual appropriation by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by the Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance. |
ACT BiographyEric BargerAfter joining ACT in 1999 I moved back to Utah in February 2000 to make it "big" and get reunited with my daughter. I did some Promos for Park City,Utah. I also did some some interviewing gigs for them during the olympics. I worked many restaurant jobs, construction and for an appraisal company. "Big" didn't work out. I got reunited with Emery but shortly after put her in a better situation witha much more able family. I moved back to Hollidaysburg in May of 2006. During my time in utah I attended SLCC and experienced a more broader look on life. Since being home I have reunited with my family, acquired a couple of jobs (St Drogos Cafe in Hollidaysburg and Prime Sirloin in Duncansville) I played in the Mansion Park league (basketball) and in a coulple of softball leagues this summer. I plan on going back to school and perhaps get a business or marketing degree. But what I really want to do is help in any way I can with community theatre. Back in '99 it gave me so much confidence and instilled in me hard work just for the love and enjoyment of putting together something positve for the community. My family lives in Pa., Ks., Ore. and Md.
