ACT is supported in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency, through its regional arts funding partnership, Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA). State government funding to the arts depends upon an annual appropriation by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. PPA is administered in this region by the Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance. |
ACT BiographyMegan MarcaurelleMegan is an upcoming sophomore at Penn State Altoona and is currently pursuing degrees in English and Integrative Arts. Along with her participation in ACT, Megan has also performed on other stages in the area. She was seen as the title role in Cinderella with Tyrone Community Players, and also performed in the ensembles of Annie Get Your Gun and Seussical: the Musical with the same theatre. Megan also participated in her productions at Altoona High School, playing Kim McAfee in Bye Bye, Birdie and Rusty in Footloose. Megan has also been very invloved with P&J Productions, playing The Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Caroled, Maid Marion in Sherwood, and Anna Martin in Ghosts. Most recently, Megan was seen in The Secret Garden at Cresson Lake Playhouse, playing the role of Rose. She is also a proud member of Ivyside Pride! at Penn State Altoona.
